Hawle coupling Syno2000 7975 DN350/355 mm

The Syno2000 combines the advantages of the Synoflex series with the innovative features of the System 2000 series. Hawle's Synoflex technology addresses dimensional and compatibility issues with non-dedicated pipes, allowing pipe materials of different sizes to be easily connected. With the System 2000 system on the other side of the coupling, plastic pipes can be installed and removed effortlessly and safely. This makes the Syno2000 ideal for the transition between different pipe systems.

Application

According to EN 14525, the side with the Synoflex connection is compatible with PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC pipes (AC restraint is not guaranteed). The side with the System 2000 connection is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Syno2000 coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. One connection of this coupling is a DN 350 Synoflex connection and has a size range of minimum 352 mm to maximum 396 mm on one side. The other connection of this coupling is a dedicated System 2000 connection of 355 mm. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.

Product Features

This coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the Syno2000 coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Syno2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Syno2000 coupling allows angular deflection up to a maximum of 4° on the Synoflex side. This applies across the entire size range of the coupling.
