Hawle coupling Synoflex 7974 DN150 155/192 mm

Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, it can be difficult to properly connect non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron or AC. These challenges are addressed by Hawle's Synoflex series, which is designed to connect, for example, older pipes, such as cast iron or asbestos cement, to modern pipes such as PE and PVC. Application

In accordance with EN 14525, Synoflex couplings can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The Synoflex coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 150 and has a size range from minimum 155 mm to maximum 192 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of EPDM on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, Synoflex couplings are made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. In addition, the Synoflex coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
