Hawle coupling Synoflex 7974 DN200 198/230 mm

Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron and AC, can be challenging. Application

The Synoflex coupling can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The Synoflex coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from minimum 198 mm to maximum 230 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of EPDM on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Synoflex coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire coupling size range.
