Hawle coupling Synoflex 7974 DN450 448/485 mm

Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron and AC, can be challenging. Application

The Synoflex coupling can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525 (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The Synoflex coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 450 and has a size range from minimum 448 mm to maximum 485 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of EPDM on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

The Synoflex coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Synoflex couplings have an angle of deflection of 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
