Hawle coupling Synoflex 7974 DN500 498/535 mm

Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, it can be difficult to properly connect non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron or AC. These challenges are addressed by Hawle's Synoflex series, which is designed to connect, for example, older pipes, such as cast iron or asbestos cement, to modern pipes such as PE and PVC. Application

The Synoflex coupling can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The Synoflex coupling is restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 500 and has a size range from minimum 498 mm to maximum 535 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

This coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the Synoflex coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. In addition, the Synoflex coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
