The 0430 coupling from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specifically designed for repairing or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. Thanks to the use of a lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling, it becomes effortless to insert the pipe into the connection. Thanks to this mechanical connection, welding is unnecessary and the assembly and disassembly of the pipes is both simple and safe.

Application

System 2000 couplings are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting pipes with a fixed size range. This coupling has a connection of 75 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.

Product Features

This coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the Systeem 2000 coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. In addition, the Systeem 2000 coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
