The 0430 coupling from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specifically designed for repairing or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. Thanks to the use of a lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling, it becomes effortless to insert the pipe into the connection. Thanks to this mechanical connection, welding is unnecessary and the assembly and disassembly of the pipes is both simple and safe.

Application

The System 2000 coupling is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting pipes with a fixed size range. This coupling has a connection of 125 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Systeem 2000 coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Systeem 2000 coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
