The 0430 coupling from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for repairing or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. A lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling makes inserting the pipe very easy. Due to this mechanical connection, welding is also unnecessary, making installation and removal of the pipes both effortless and safe.

Application

System 2000 couplings are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting pipes with a fixed size range. This coupling has a connection of 315 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.

Product Features

The Systeem 2000 coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion over a long period of time. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Systeem 2000 couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
