The Hawle 0430 coupling is part of the System 2000 series, a system specifically designed for repairing or expanding plastic pipe networks. With the System 2000 coupling, the pipe is simply inserted into the connection using the lip seal ring. This mechanical connection eliminates welding and ensures that the pipes can be installed and removed easily and safely.

Application

According to EN 12201, DIN 8074 and EN ISO 1452-2, the System 2000 coupling is suitable for both PE80/100 pipes and PVC pipes. The Systeem 2000 coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting pipes with a fixed size range. This coupling has a connection of 400 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Systeem 2000 coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. In addition, the Systeem 2000 coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
