When connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron or AC pipes, dimensional and compatibility problems with couplings arise. Hawle addresses these challenges with the Synoflex series. For example, older pipes, such as asbestos cement and cast iron, can be connected to modern pipes, such as PE and PVC. In addition, they have a long lifetime and are quick, safe and easy to install. Because time and costs are saved, the Hawle Synoflex coupling is an all-round coupling and an essential product in pipeline engineering.
The flange bore is according to wide range. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN16.
To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, Synoflex flange adapters are made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire Synoflex couplings.
