The 8075 end cap from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specifically designed for carrying out repairs or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. Thanks to the use of a lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling, it becomes effortless to insert the pipe into the connection. Thanks to this mechanical connection, welding is unnecessary and the assembly and disassembly of the pipes is both simple and safe.
System 2000 endcaps are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 end cap is restraint and has an internal thread, axial outlet. This end cap has a dedicated connection of 75 mm. In addition, this end cap has EPDM sealing material and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The Systeem 2000 end cap is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. Compared to other endcaps on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
