The 8075 end cap from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specifically designed for carrying out repairs or expanding existing networks using plastic pipes. Thanks to the use of a lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling, it becomes effortless to insert the pipe into the connection. Thanks to this mechanical connection, welding is unnecessary and the assembly and disassembly of the pipes is both simple and safe.

Application

System 2000 endcaps are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 end cap is restraint and has an internal thread, radial outlet. This end cap has a dedicated connection of 200 mm. In addition, this end cap is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Systeem 2000 end cap provides long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other endcaps on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
