Hawle flange adapter Synoflex 7994 DN100 104-132 mm

When connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron or AC pipes, dimensional and compatibility problems with couplings arise. Hawle addresses these challenges with the Synoflex series. For example, older pipes, such as asbestos cement and cast iron, can be connected to modern pipes, such as PE and PVC. In addition, they have a long lifetime and are quick, safe and easy to install. Because time and costs are saved, the Hawle Synoflex coupling is an all-round coupling and an essential product in pipeline engineering.

Application

The 7994 flange adapter is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074). In accordance with EN 14525, Synoflex flange adapters are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10. This flange adapter has a DN 100 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 100 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 104 mm to maximum 132 mm. This flange adapter is equipped with a gasket of EPDM making it suitable for drinking water up to PN16.

Product Features

The Synoflex flange adapter is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range.
