Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron and AC, can be challenging. Application

The 7994 flange adapter is suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074). The Synoflex flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10. This flange adapter has a DN 125 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 125 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 131 mm to maximum 160 mm. In addition, this flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

The Synoflex flange adapter is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 4° over the entire size range of the entire Synoflex couplings.
