Due to dimensional and compatibility issues with couplings, connecting non-dedicated pipes, such as cast iron and AC, can be challenging. Application

7994 flange adapters are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074). In accordance with EN 14525, Synoflex flange adapters can be used with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10. This flange adapter has a DN 200 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 225 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 230 mm to maximum 260 mm. In addition, this flange adapter is suitable for drinking water up to PN10 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Synoflex flange adapter offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range.
