Hawle flange adapter System 2000 0400 DN400-400 mm PN10 f

The 0400 flange adapter from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for repairing or expanding existing plastic pipe networks. By using a lip seal ring, the System 2000 flange adapter makes it easy to insert the pipe. The mechanical connection eliminates the need for welding and makes it easy and safe to install and dismantle the pipes.

Application

PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2) and PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201) are both compatible with Systeem 2000 flange adapters. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10. This flange adapter has a DN 400 flange on one side and a restraint, dedicated connection of 400 mm on the other side. In addition, this flange adapter has EPDM sealing material and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 10.

Product Features

To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, Systeem 2000 flange adapters are made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
