Due to dimensional issues and coupling compatibility, connecting non-dedicated pipes such as cast iron and AC can be challenging. Application

PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201) are compatible with 7994 flange adapters. The Synoflex flange adaptor can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. The flange bore is according to EN1092 PN10. This flange adapter has a DN 200 flange on one side and has a restraint, wide range connection of DN 150 on the other side. The size range of this connection is minimum 155 mm to maximum 192 mm. The gasket of this flange adapter is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN10.

Product Features

This flange adapter is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, which makes the Synoflex flange adapter highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 4° over the entire size range.
