This Hawle shut-off element is designed to work in combination with a shut-off knife or saddle blade, allowing for a secure seal between two flanges, for example under air vents or hydrants. The auxiliary shut-off flange creates a reliable seal around the desired location, preventing water leakage during maintenance. This allows new valves or pipes to be added without shutting down the entire pipeline. This makes maintenance not only more efficient, but also safer.

Product Features

This auxiliary shut-off flange has a DN 80 connection with threaded end according to EN1092 PN10/16. The inlet of the closing blade is provided with a sealable cap to prevent dirt inclusion. The housing of the shut-off flange is made of cast iron with epoxy powder coating. The corrosion-resistant materials ensure that it can withstand even the most demanding conditions. This product is equipped with a NBR gasket which makes it suitable for waste water up to PN 16.
