The flexible Vario coupling from Hawle is a double-flanged, telescopic coupling. With its telescopic function, the coupling can be adjusted in length. In addition, the integrated balland socket joint of the Vario can accommodate large angular deviations up to 10°. Both functions ensure precise fits without additional cutting or welding when installing pipes with different distances or heights between the pipes to be connected.

Application

The coupling has a DN 80 flange on both sides with flange bore according to EN1092 PN10/16. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM and therefore the coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The coupling has a robust housing made of ductile iron with epoxy powder coating which ensures excellent corrosion resistance and a long lifetime. The flexible Vario is adjustable in length with a minimum length of 214 mm and a maximum length of 344 mm. In addition, the Vario coupling allows angular deflection up to 10° over the entire size range of the coupling.
