The flexible Vario coupling from Hawle is a double flanged, telescopic coupling. The telescopic feature makes it possible to adjust the length of the coupling. In addition, the Vario has an integrated balland socket joint, which allows it to accommodate a large angular deflection of up to 10°. These two features make the Vario particularly useful when installing pipes with varying distances or heights between the pipes to be connected, allowing precise fits without additional cutting or welding.
The coupling has a DN 80 flange on both sides with flange bore according to EN1092 PN10/16. This coupling is equipped with a gasket of EPDM, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The coupling's robust cast iron housing is provided with an epoxy powder coating, making it corrosion-resistant and giving it a long lifetime. The flexible Vario is adjustable in length with a minimum length of 150 mm and a maximum length of 214 mm. Furthermore, the Vario coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to a maximum of 10° over the entire size range of the coupling.
