Hawle foot bend Systeem 2000 5045 DN080-090 mm

The Hawle 5045 foot bend is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for connecting hydrants. By using a lip seal ring , the System 2000 coupling makes it easy to insert the PE or PVC pipe. The mechanical connection eliminates the need for welding and makes the pipes easy and safe to install and dismantle.

Application

Foot bends are widely used in the installation of fire hydrants to change the direction of the water pipe and position it at the correct height and location. System 2000 couplings are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The Systeem 2000 foot bend has a flange connection of DN 80 on the top and a 90 mm connection on the horizontal side for a restraint connection between PE or PVC pipes of Systeem 2000. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

This coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making the Systeem 2000 coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
