Hawle foot bend Systeem 2000 5047 DN080-090 mm (2" Bi)

The 5047 foot bend from Hawle is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specifically designed for connecting hydrants. Thanks to the lip seal ring in the System 2000 coupling, it becomes effortless to place the PE or PVC pipe in the connection. This mechanical connection makes welding unnecessary and the assembly and disassembly of the pipes both simple and safe. The foot bend is equipped with a 2" internal thread connection.

Application

Foot bends are widely used in the installation of fire hydrants to change the direction of the water pipe and position it at the correct height and location. According to EN 12201, DIN 8074 and EN ISO 1452-2, the System 2000 coupling is suitable for both PE80/100 pipes and PVC pipes. The Systeem 2000 foot bend has a flange connection of DN 80 on the top and a 90 mm connection on the horizontal side for a restraint connection between PE or PVC pipes of Systeem 2000. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM.

Product Features

Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, the Systeem 2000 coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in the least constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Systeem 2000 couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
