Application

The Synoflex coupling can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525. (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). This coupling is equipped with an EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN16. This Synoflex reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 80 and has a size range from a minimum of 85 mm to a maximum of 105 mm. The other connection is DN 65 and has a size range from a minimum of 71 mm to a maximum of 88 mm.

Product Features

The Synoflex reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The Synoflex reducing coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, it is possible to absorb an angular deflection of up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range of the Synoflex reducing couplings.
