Application

In accordance with EN 14525, Synoflex couplings are compatible with a variety of pipe materials including steel, PE, PVC, cast iron and AC (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). In addition, this coupling has an EPDM gasket on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN16. This Synoflex reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 125 and has a size range from a minimum of 131 mm to a maximum of 160 mm. The other connection is DN 100 and has a size range from a minimum of 104 mm to a maximum of 132 mm.

Product Features

The Synoflex reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The Synoflex reducing coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. The unique design of the grip ring distributes pressure evenly across the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe compared to other fittings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex reducing coupling is capable of withstanding an angular deflection of up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range.
