Application

The Synoflex coupling can be used on a wide range of pipe materials, including steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron and AC (AC restraint is not guaranteed), in accordance with EN 14525. With an EPDM gasket on both sides, the coupling reducer coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN16. This Synoflex reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from a minimum of 198 mm to a maximum of 230 mm. The other connection is DN 150 and has a size range from a minimum of 155 mm to a maximum of 192 mm.

Product Features

The Synoflex reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The Synoflex reducing coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, the Synoflex reducing coupling is capable of withstanding an angular deflection of up to 8° (2x 4°) over the entire size range.
