Due to dimensional issues and coupling compatibility, connecting non-dedicated pipes such as cast iron and AC can be challenging. Application

The Synoflex coupling can be connected to various pipe materials, such as steel, PE, PVC, steel, cast iron, and AC, in accordance with EN 14525. (AC restraint cannot be guaranteed). In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN10 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides. This Synoflex reducing coupling is a restraint coupling, which is designed to connect pipes with different outer diameters. One connection of the coupling is DN 400 and has a size range from a minimum of 398 mm to a maximum of 442 mm. The other connection is DN 350 and has a size range from a minimum of 352 mm to a maximum of 396 mm.

The Synoflex reducing coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The Synoflex reducing coupling is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion. Compared to other couplings on the market, the unique design of the grip ring ensures even pressure distribution over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe. An additional advantage is that the Synoflex couplings do not require support liners for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21. Furthermore, within the entire size range of the Synoflex reducing coupling, an angular deflection of up to 8° (2x 4°) is possible.
