Hawle T-piece (MMA) Systeem 2000 8525 DN150/160 mm-DN150

The Hawle restraint T-piece is part of the System 2000 series, an innovative system specially designed for repairing or expanding existing plastic pipe networks. By using a lip seal ring , the System 2000 coupling makes it easy to insert the pipe. The mechanical connection eliminates the need for welding and makes the pipes easy and safe to install and dismantle.

Application

System 2000 connections are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). This restraint T-piece has two dedicated System 2000 connections of 160 mm on the opposing sides and a DN [[Connection 2 DN]] flange on the branch side. The flange is equipped with a flange bore according to EN1092 PN10/16. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM and therefore the coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.

Product Features

The coupling's robust cast iron housing is provided with an epoxy powder coating, making it corrosion-resistant and giving it a long lifetime. The grip ring ensures that the pressure is evenly distributed over the pipe, resulting in minimal constriction on the pipe, a unique feature compared to other couplings on the market. An additional advantage is that the System 2000 couplings do not require a support liner for PE pipes with an SDR class of <21.
