HAKU tapping saddles from Hawle offer the ideal solution for creating a branch on existing PE or PVC pipes without completely shutting them off. The HAKU series allows you to connect PE pipes (according to EN 12201 and DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). Using these tapping saddles, the existing pipe network remains intact, interruptions are minimized and an efficient and safe connection is achieved.

The type 5230 tapping saddle has a DN 80 flange with flange bore according to EN1092 PN10/16 and is suitable for a PE or PVC pipe with a diameter of 110 mm. With a gasket of EPDM, it is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an epoxy powder coating, this tapping saddle offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals.
