Hawle offers the HAKU tapping saddles as an ideal solution for creating a branch on existing PE or PVC pipes without completely shutting them off. PVC and PE pipes according to EN ISO 1452-2 and EN 12201 are compatible with the HAKU series. Thanks to these tapping saddles, connections are efficient and safe, interruptions are minimized and the existing pipe network remains intact.

Product Features

The type 5230 tapping saddle has a DN 80 flange with flange bore according to EN1092 PN10/16 and is suitable for a PE or PVC pipe with a diameter of 160 mm. With a gasket of EPDM, it is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. To prevent abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion, the tapping saddle is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating.
