Hawle's universal tapping saddles allow you to create a reliable branch on existing ductile iron, AC (asbestos cement) or steel pipes without the need for a complete shut-off. Universal tapping saddles can be used for a wide range of pipe materials and industrial applications. These tapping saddles keep the existing pipe network in good condition, minimize interruptions and ensure efficient and safe connections.
The type 3800 tapping saddle has an internal thread connection of 2" and is suitable for steel, ductile iron or AC pipes of DN 350/600. With a gasket of EPDM, it is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16. The tapping saddle is made of ductile iron with an epoxy powder coating, making it resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals.
NOTE: This tapping saddle head requires two straps.
