Application

Our Essen hose for cooling water was developed for use in environments where it is extremely hot. For example in steel mills, rolling mills and foundries. In contrast to regular hoses, this cooling hose, thanks to the reliable glass fiber coating, can withstand radiant heat up to 530 ° C.

Range

Available in inner diameters from 13mm (1/2 ") to 102mm (4"). Standard roll length 120 meters.
On request we also supply other diameters, working pressure, electrical insulation or fire-resistant characteristics in accordance to ASTM C 542.

Characteristics

• Temperature range: -40°C to +120°C (cooling water), +530°C (radiant heat)
• Working pressure: 10 bar (150 psi)
• Burst pressure: 30 bar (450 psi)

Inspection, repair, testing and certification

Our service does not end with the delivery of your hose. We also carry out inspections on hose assemblies in our own test center or on your company location. We repair hoses, test them and provide a test certificate.
