IVG rubber chemical, oil and food hose Thunderflex

Application

Our Thunderflex is a hardwall electrically conductive hose for use in an ATEX zone. This rubber hose is suitable for oil products, chemicals and food and is free from phthalates. Particularly suitable for use in the chemical and petrochemical industry and the food industry.

Range

Available in inner diameters from 13mm (1/2") to 100mm (3.15/16"). Standard roll length 60 meters.

• Temperature range: -30°C to 100°C (depending on the medium, contact us for advice).
• Working pressure: 16 bar (240 psi)
• Burst pressure: 64 bar (960 psi)
• Vacuum: 0.9 bar

Standards and Approvals

• EN 12115: 21.
• Tube: Reg. EC 1935/04 and EC 2023/06. Reg. EU 10/2011 for alcoholic foodstuffs up to 96°C.
• FDA title 21 item 177.1520 foods. BfR III.
• Phthalate-free and bisphenol A-free.
• The hose is marked according to EN 12115.

Inspection, repair, testing and certification

Our service does not end with the delivery of your hose. We also carry out inspections on hose assemblies in our own test center or on your company location. We repair hoses, test them and provide a test certificate.
