Schuck welding sleeve SMU DN400 426.0 mm

The Schuck push-on sleeves ensure that pipe ends can be connected reliably and permanently in gas pipeline systems. Once the self-sealing sleeve is applied to the pipe ends and is welded, it ensures a strong, leak-free and permanent connection. This guarantees a strong connection that can withstand high loads and pressure.

Product Features

This SMU sleeve is equipped with two push on connections which are suitable for an outer diameter of the pipes to be connected from 426 mm. The sleeve is made of koolstofstaal and is suitable for gas up to PN 16. The self-sealing EPDM ring provides a temporary gasket, so that the push-on sleeve can be welded under a reduced pressure of up to 1 bar. This ensures minimal downtime of the gas pipeline. The total length of the welding sleeve is 400 mm.
