Schuck welding sleeve SMU-R DN040 48.3/44.5 mm

With the Schuck push-on sleeves, pipe ends can be connected reliably and permanently in gas pipeline systems. After welding, the sleeve seals the pipe ends securely, preventing leaks and ensuring a permanent connection. This connection can withstand high pressures and loads.

Product Features

This SMU-R sleeve is equipped with two push on connections with a reducing side, one side has a connection of 48,3 mm and the other side has a connection of 44,5 mm. The sleeve is made of koolstofstaal and is suitable for gas up to PN 16. A self-sealing EPDM ring provides a temporary gasket, allowing the push-on sleeve to be welded at a reduced pressure of 1 bar. This ensures minimal downtime of the gas pipeline. The total length of the welding sleeve is 420 mm.
