Schuck welding sleeve SMU-R DN250 273.0/267.0 mm

The Schuck push-on sleeves ensure that pipe ends can be connected reliably and permanently in gas pipeline systems. Once the self-sealing sleeve is applied to the pipe ends and is welded, it ensures a strong, leak-free and permanent connection. This guarantees a strong connection that can withstand high loads and pressure.

Product Features

This SMU-R sleeve is equipped with two push on connections with a reducing side, one side has a connection of 273 mm and the other side has a connection of 267 mm. The sleeve is made of koolstofstaal and is suitable for gas up to PN 16. The self-sealing ring of EPDM creates a temporary gasket which allows the push-on sleeve to be welded under a reduced pressure of up to 1 bar. This minimizes downtime of the gas pipeline. The total length of the welding sleeve is 500 mm.
