The SR 507 compressed air connection is designed for connection to the SR 520, SR 530, SR 561, and SR 562 hoods, the SR 570 and SR 540 (EX) visors hoods, the SR 900 half-face mask, the SR 590 welding shield, the SR 580 helmet with visor, and the SR 584/SR 580 welding shield/helmet with visor from Sundström. This combination forms a breathing apparatus designed for continuous air flow and for connection to a compressed air supply. The SR 507 is an accessory that allows you to use a specific face shield or mask as a compressed air-supplied respiratory protection device or as a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR). The compressed air connection is specifically intended for applications involving heavy and prolonged work in environments where the contaminants have poor warning properties or are particularly toxic.
