The SR 64 protective hood is designed for use in combination with Sundström half masks and full face masks with filters or the SR 307 compressed air connection and with the SR 90 Airline. The hood provides protection against dust and particles, as well as a small amount of splashes and droplets. The SR 64 is made of non-woven material (Tyvek®) and can be used in any situation where a half-face mask can be used. However, the hood does not provide protection against toxic, aggressive, or irritating vapors or aerosols. The hood is intended for short-term use and is not suitable for cleaning.
