This pre-filter ensures that coarse particles are captured before they reach the filter cartridge. This increases the life span of the carbon filter cartridge and the P3 filter cartridge considerably. The cost of regularly replacing the pre-filter does not outweigh the cost of frequently having to replace a complete filter cartridge.
Pre-filter fits all Sundström filter cartridges with a holder and can be used in combination with the filter cartridges on half masks, full face masks and the PAPR fan units SR 500 and SR 700. We recommend changing the pre-filter daily.
