Sundström SR 540 - face shield

The SR 540 face shield, together with the SR 500 or SR 700 fan unit and approved filters, is included in Sundström's fan-assisted respiratory protection systems. The face shield's breathing tube must be connected to the fan unit, which is equipped with filters. The pressure generated in the face shield prevents particles and other contaminants from entering the hood. The SR 540 can also be used with the SR 507 compressed air equipment. This combination forms a breathing apparatus designed for continuous air flow, for connection to a compressed air supply. The equipment can be used as an alternative to filter respirators in all situations where filter respirators are recommended. This applies especially to heavy, hot, or prolonged work.
