Viking Johnson's AquaFast series is specifically designed to connect PE and PVC pipes quickly and easily. Simply slide the pipe into place and tighten to install the AquaFast coupling. With a strong grip mechanism, it's easy to hold the pipes in place and align them properly during installation, making replacing and repairing plastic pipes easier than ever before.
AquaFast couplings are suitable for PE80/100 pipes (according to EN 12201, DIN 8074) and PVC pipes (according to EN ISO 1452-2). The AquaFast coupling is restraint and is suitable for connecting pipes with a fixed size range. This coupling has a connection of 75 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.
The AquaFast coupling is designed to meet the performance requirements of specific standards such as WIS 4-24-01 Type 2 and ISO 14236-2. The system uses a patented design with gaskets and metal parts that provide three-way pressure-responsive sealing, ensuring high-performance sealing even after pipe wall relaxation. This coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the AquaFast coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. Furthermore, the AquaFast coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 3° (2x 1,5°) over the entire coupling size range.
