The MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson has a wide size range and the ability to connect a variety of pipe materials. This makes this coupling ideal for pipes that need to be replaced. Because of the wide size range, only a few couplings must be in stock, and repairs or emergencies can be easily handled. Furthermore, MaxiFit couplings are very flexible, allowing them to accommodate angular deflection up to 6° when subsidence or alignment errors occur. This makes the coupling a reliable product for the long term.
With the MaxiFit couplings you can attach pipes made of steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 50 and has a size range from minimum 57 mm to maximum 74 mm on both sides. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for afvalwater up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion over a long period of time. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. MaxiFit couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
