A wide size range and the ability to connect different types of pipe materials make the MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. Repairs or emergencies can be easily handled due to the wide size range, which means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deviations of up to 6°. Flexible couplings ensure reliable and long-lasting connections, even when subsidence or alignment errors occur.
The MaxiFit coupling can be used for a wide range of pipe materials, such as steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 80 and has a size range from minimum 85 mm to maximum 107 mm on both sides. With a NBR gasket on both sides, the coupling is suitable for gas up to PN 6.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, the MaxiFit coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. MaxiFit couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
