The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to meet repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible and can accommodate angular deflection of up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to subsidence or misalignment, making this coupling a long-lasting, reliable product.
MaxiFit couplings are suitable for pipes made of steel, ductile iron, cast iron, plastic, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 125 and has a size range from minimum 132 mm to maximum 158 mm on both sides. The gasket of this coupling is made of EPDM, making the coupling suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, the specially profiled gasket ensures that even damaged and corroded pipes are completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. MaxiFit couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
