Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible, allowing them to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
MaxiFit couplings are suitable for pipes made of steel, ductile iron, cast iron, plastic, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 150 and has a size range from minimum 158 mm to maximum 184 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling has a gasket made of EPDM on both sides and is therefore suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion over a long period of time. Due to the specially profiled gasket of the coupling, even pipes that are damaged or affected by corrosion can be completely sealed. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. MaxiFit couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
