Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range is ideal for joining a variety of pipe materials and is available in a wide range of sizes, making it ideal for repairing broken pipes. The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to cover repairs or emergencies. Furthermore, MaxiFit couplings can withstand angular deviations of up to 6°, resisting subsidence and misalignment, ensuring reliable and long-lasting connections.
MaxiFit couplings are suitable for pipes made of steel, ductile iron, cast iron, plastic, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 175 and has a size range from minimum 189 mm to maximum 212 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. Thanks to the ductile iron housing with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, the MaxiFit coupling offers long-term resistance to abrasion or damage caused by corrosion or chemicals. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiFit coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
