The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to meet repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible and can accommodate angular deflection of up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to subsidence or misalignment, making this coupling a long-lasting, reliable product.
MaxiFit couplings can be used on a wide range of pipe materials including steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 200 and has a size range from minimum 218 mm to maximum 244 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for gas up to PN 6 due to the gasket of NBR on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating. This makes the coupling resistant to abrasion or significant damage from chemicals or corrosion over a long period of time. In addition, the specially profiled gasket completely seals pipes, despite damage or corrosion on the pipes. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiFit coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
