A wide size range and the ability to connect different types of pipe materials make the MaxiFit range from Viking Johnson ideal for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. Repairs or emergencies can be easily handled due to the wide size range, which means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is very flexible, allowing it to accommodate angular deviations of up to 6°. Flexible couplings ensure reliable and long-lasting connections, even when subsidence or alignment errors occur.
The MaxiFit coupling can be used for a wide range of pipe materials, such as steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 350 and has a size range from minimum 394,3 mm to maximum 411,3 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. This coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the MaxiFit coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. In addition, the specially profiled gasket completely seals pipes, despite damage or corrosion on the pipes. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. Furthermore, the MaxiFit coupling can accommodate angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire coupling size range.
