Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible, allowing them to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
With the MaxiFit couplings you can attach pipes made of steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 400 and has a size range from minimum 404,8 mm to maximum 421,8 mm on both sides. This coupling is equipped with a EPDM gasket on both sides, making it suitable for drinking water up to PN 16.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. This coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the MaxiFit coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. Even pipes that are damaged or corroded are completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket of the coupling. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
