Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range is ideal for joining a variety of pipe materials and is available in a wide range of sizes, making it ideal for repairing broken pipes. The large size range means that only a few sizes must be in stock to cover repairs or emergencies. Furthermore, MaxiFit couplings can withstand angular deviations of up to 6°, resisting subsidence and misalignment, ensuring reliable and long-lasting connections.
The MaxiFit coupling can be used for a wide range of pipe materials, such as steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 100 and has a size range from minimum 107 mm to maximum 132 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. The MaxiFit coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, making the coupling resistant to abrasion or damage from corrosion or chemicals. In addition, pipes can be completely sealed by the specially profiled gasket, even when they are damaged or affected by corrosion. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. MaxiFit couplings have an angle of deflection of 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
