Viking Johnson's MaxiFit range is ideal for joining different types of pipe materials and has a wide size range, making it perfect for repairs where a section of pipe needs to be replaced. The wide size range means that only a few sizes need to be kept in stock to cover repair or emergency situations. In addition, MaxiFit couplings are highly flexible, allowing them to accommodate angular deflection up to 6°. This flexibility makes the couplings resistant to ground settlement or misalignment, ensuring a reliable and long-lasting connection.
MaxiFit couplings can be used on a wide variety of pipe materials including steel, ductile iron, PE, PVC, cast iron, GRP and asbestos cement pipes. The MaxiFit coupling is non-restraint and is designed to connect pipes with different outside diameters. The connection of this coupling is DN 100 and has a size range from minimum 107 mm to maximum 132 mm on both sides. In addition, this coupling is suitable for drinking water up to PN 16 due to the gasket of EPDM on both sides.
The MaxiFit coupling is designed to meet the requirements of EN 14525. This coupling is made of ductile iron with an rilsan nylon 11 coating, which makes the MaxiFit coupling highly resistant to abrasion and damage from chemicals or corrosion. In addition, the specially profiled gasket completely seals pipes, despite damage or corrosion on the pipes. A support liner for this coupling is recommended when used on a PE pipe. In addition, the MaxiFit coupling is suitable for angular deflection up to 6° (2x 3°) over the entire size range of the coupling.
